AV was born and reared in Edo state, Nigeria, where he was raised alongside his direct siblings by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Adindu.
His father, a musician and instrumentalist who plays guitar, was his musical inspiration.

Career
Babyboy AV launched his music career in 2018 with the release of his first single, “Temperature,” which quickly gained fame. His musical foundation is attributed to his father, a musician who taught him the fundamentals of music. He was influenced by popular artists such as Kendrick Lamar, Asa, Future, Xxxtentacion, and Chronixx when he was younger.
AV had the honor of performing at the famed “Felabration” event in 2019, which was a huge milestone for him. However, it wasn’t until June 2021 that he achieved international acclaim with the release of his debut single, “Big Thug Boys.” The song rapidly became a huge hit throughout Africa, topping the iTunes list within three weeks. The video was directed by Dindu, one of Nigeria’s best music directors.
AV’s fame grew, and in August 2021, he performed in Big Brother Naija Season 6‘s live eviction event. In October of the same year, he released another smash single titled “Confession.”
In December, he released his music project, an EP titled ‘Thug Love,’ which received widespread appreciation and recognition from music fans and enthusiasts.
