American rap star, Cardi B, has said that she misses the life of normalcy she had before becoming rich and famous.
The ‘Bodak Yellow’ hit-maker, made this known via her Twitter account while responding to a fan who wondered why she was still parading herself as someone who still lives in a ghetto.
Cardi, who was quizzed about what she did in a music video with Latto, revealed in her response that despite her achievements, she misses her old ways of life.
The fan asked; “Okay last thing when is cardi gonna transition to full millionaire like why are you posing with guns and things in the put it on the floor again remix video ?? who escapes the hood just to relive it every chance they get.”
According to the Hip Hip artiste, having every material thing one wants is not enough as it gets bored after sometime.
She claimed that she was crying recently while reminiscing on her old life, but added that she would not complain because the current situation is part of growing up and her children.
Cardi B’s net worth is around 80 million dollars and she has two children with her husband, Offset.
She tweeted; “You wanna know wats so crazy ? I was tearing the other day Cause I miss my old life …Sometimes having everything GETS BORING…
But I won’t complain it’s not about me anymore. This is part of growing up and bout my kids ..but yea PUT IT ON THE FLOOR !!!”
