The two managers went toe to toe at full-time after Tottenham stole a late point at Stamford Bridge.
Antonio Conte and Thomas Tuchel were both sent off after a furious confrontation after the London Derby between Chelsea and Tottenham.
It was a fiery encounter with Conte’s Spurs twice coming from behind to snatch a draw at Stamford Bridge – the second equaliser coming in the sixth minute of stoppage time through Harry Kane. There were wild scenes of celebration when Kane hit the back of the net, sealing a smash-and-grab point for Conte ‘s team.
Kalidou Koulibaly had given Chelsea a lead with a stunning volley and after Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg squared it up, Reece James appeared to have given Chelsea the win before the late drama. Conte in particular celebrated wildly and was seen getting in Tuchel’s face, with the German reacting angrily. It all spilled over after the final whistle as a frustrated Tuchel went to shake the Spurs boss’ hand and refused to loosen his grip as he gave the Chelsea boss a few choice words.

The Italian then turned to confront him and the two launched into a furious argument, eventually having to be separated by the players and coaching staff. Chelsea skipper Cesar Azpilcueta was also seen confronting his former manager Conte, who was visibly livid. Referee Paul Tierney showed both managers red cards as it all spilled over.
“I thought when you shake hands you look in each other’s eyes. Antonio had a different opinion so it was emotional. He was happy when they equalised, I was standing there so it got a bit heated.
“It was not necessary (the red card) but a lot of things were not necessary. Another poor decision from the ref today.
“There was no problem between me and Antonio. It’s football, it’s emotional, that’s why we like it. It got heated up but that’s the game, it’s the Premier League.
