Early Life
Moyo Lawal was born on January 1st to Mr. and Mrs. Lawal’s family in Badagry town.
She graduated from the esteemed University of Lagos with a BSc in Creative Arts.
Career
Beginning her acting career in modest theatrical productions, Moyo Lawal. A friend suggested that she try acting while still in school. She participated in the “Next Movie Star” reality TV competition, but she came in last.
She made her acting debut in the television series Shallow Waters, playing Chioma.
Her big break in the business came when she was chosen to play the character of Chinny in the critically acclaimed TV series Tinsel.
She won the Revelation of the Year award at the 2012 BON Awards ceremony.
Personal Life
During a failed robbery attempt, Moyo Lawal was a victim while operating a vehicle on Lagos’ Third Mainland Bridge. She spread awareness of the occurrence online by sharing her account and suggesting ways to reduce the frequency of armed robberies on the highways.
