Hermes was born in Lagos state and reared by his mother, brother, and sister. Iyele is a multi-talented young actress with a variety of talents and skills.
His abilities and originality have made him well-known, as he has played at various festivals locally and abroad, and he has also participated in music videos by Nigerian bigwigs such as Burna Boy, Davido, Ajebo Hustlers, and others.
He became famous after being named one of the Big Brother Naija season 7 housemates.

He had been privileged to perform some of his original dance steps in reputable and prestigious festivals in Lagos, Glasgow, Scotland, and Rotterdam, Netherlands.
Hermes joined the BBN house in July 2022, competing with 23 other people in winning a grand prize. He is currently the Head of House (HOH) and shares a room with Allysyn, a participant.
