Early Life
Iyabo Ojo was born in Lagos to an Ogun State father and attended National College, Gbagbada, before deciding to study estate management at Lagos State Polytechnic.
She began acting in 1998 after participating in a theatrical group at high school. “So when I came of age, I went to Bimbo Akintola after watching one of her films,” she explained. I told her I wanted to be an actress, and they helped me. I enrolled with the Actors Guild of Nigeria (AGN) with her help, and she then showed me about, introducing me to many of the people she knew in the industry.”
Ojo has scripted and featured in numerous Nigerian movies. Her first role turned into in 1998’s satanic, an English-language film. In 2002, she made her Yoruba-language debut with Baba Darijinwon.
In January 2015, her movie Silence, which functions Joseph Benjamin, Alex Usifo, Faithia Balogun, and Doris Simeon, premiered on the Silverbird Cinemas, Ikeja, in Lagos.
