The eerie single and music video “Demons” by Doja Cat is the first taste of her upcoming album Scarlet.
The song comes after “Paint The Town Red,” which was released last month and reignited talk about the rapper’s purported demonic nature.
Doja transforms into the evil spirit in the Christian Breslauer-directed film, terrorising a lady played by Christina Ricci and her children. The “Attention” rapper scales the walls and ceilings with horns emerging from her head, piercing red eyes, and charcoal black skin. She eventually chases the family out of the house.
Doja beams, “I’m a puppet, I’m a sheep, I’m a cash cow/ I’m the fastest-growing bi**h on all your apps now/ You are tired of me ’cause I’m on your a** now/ You are mad at me ’cause I am all they slap now/ I can nap now/ Lots of people that were sleeping say I rap now/ Lots of people’s hopes and dreams are finally trashed now.”
