With the release of his new “Good Good” music video featuring Summer Walker and 21 Savage, Usher is now 2-for-2.
The Jackson Street Bridge in Atlanta serves as the primary setting for the Warren Fu-directed music video, which features Ursher, Summer, and 21 taking over the city with their upbeat post-breakup anthem. As the singer, once again, pays homage to himself like in the recent “Boyfriend” video, featuring Keke Palmer, ardent fans of the vocalist noted the subtle nods to his “You Make Me Wanna” and “Burn” videos.
The second single from his much awaited new album, due out this fall, “Good Good” landed at No. 1 on Billboard’s R&B Digital Song Sales Chart. The LP will be distributed by mega, the musical collective that Usher, L.A. Reid, and gamma formed.
Since the song itself is about a failed relationship and the ex-couple is still friendly, some fans were anticipating to see Usher’s ex-girlfriend, TLC’s Chilli, make a surprise cameo in the video.
