Wesley Fofana to Chelsea is becoming a serious possibility.
On Friday, 90min reported that the Leicester City defender had told his club that he was desperate for a transfer to Stamford Bridge.
Chelsea are reported to have had two offers already rejected by the Foxes.
However, Fabrizio Romano reported this morning that the Blues have now submitted a fresh £70 million bid to sign the 21-year-old defender.

Manchester City have also been linked with Fofana but the French powerhouse is looking set for Chelsea, it has to be said.
Well, providing that Leicester accept the new and improved offer.
But honestly, they probably will.
All things being equal, they more than likely won’t receive a better offer for Fofana this summer and with the former Saint-Etienne prospect also having some major injuries in England already, they might prefer to cash in on the big man.
The West Londoners have already spent almost £100 million on defenders this summer in the form of Kalidou Koulibaly and Marc Cucurella.
But with Thiago Silva turning 38 next month, a long-term replacement is logical and if Chelsea can sign one now, rather than next summer, why not?
